POINT PLEASANT — Thirteen is a lucky number, when you’re the Mothman.This year’s 13th Annual Mothman Festival saw what organizers say could be a record crowd which typically draws 5,000 people into town.Ashley Watts, one of the festival organizers, said nearly 2,000 people alone visited the Mothman Museum. The crowd on Saturday was larger than both the crowds on Saturday and Sunday during last year’s festival. In addition, Watts said nearly 100 people showed up on Friday night to watch a free screening of the film, “The Mothman Prophecies” at the State Theater.

ROCKSPRINGS, Ohio — Dominance at home.The Meigs volleyball team claimed a straight game victory over non-conference guest Eastern, Saturday at Larry R.
