Mason County Fair begins Monday

POINT PLEASANT —The Mason County Fair begins on Monday.Brian Billings of the fair board and fair entertainment committee, said a lot of effort has gone into getting the grounds looking “great.” In addition, work has been done to the livestock barns and an effort has begun to “spruce up” the main exhibit building. In addition, free Wi-Fi will be available on the fair grounds this year courtesy of Suddenlink.You have to be there to experience it, according to Billings who said the fair has been receiving a lot of calls about their entertainment lineup this year. Of course, closing out the fair on Saturday, Aug. 9 is country music superstar, John Michael Montgomery who takes the stage at 9 p.m.
