It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in October in downtown Point Pleasant. Workers with the city’s street department, pictured, have begun the process of placing lighted wreaths, garland and Christmas flags downtown, including through Gunn Park. Though Halloween hasn’t yet arrived, this process can take some time, especially with some of the street department staff working on other projects, including the light displays at Krodel Park for the Christmas Fantasy Light Show. The countdown to Christmas is a little more than two months away, but for the City of Point Pleasant Street Department, making it look like Christmas starts now.
