POINT PLEASANT — One of Mason County’s biggest (and free) parties of the year, is set for next week.The annual Halloween Block Party will take place 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at Riverfront Park.The Halloween Block Party has become a family-friendly tradition in downtown Point Pleasant where the food, candy, games and activities are all free to area children. The block party is 100 percent funded by local residents, businesses and organizations. It’s put on by volunteers, including help from personnel with the city of Point Pleasant.
