Point Pleasant graduate named ‘Playmate of the Month’

ATHENS, Ohio — Beth Williams, a 2005 graduate of Point Pleasant High School, has recently been selected as Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for Aug. 2012.

It was reported that Williams, 25, will be featured in the July/August issue in of Playboy, in “Country Strong: Saddle up with Miss August.” Williams has previously posed for Playboy’s “Fresh Faces” website in 2008, and also had auditioned for Playboy’s 55th Anniversary Playmate.

“Being a Playmate has always been a dream of mine,” Williams recently said in an interview. “I can’t believe it came true.”

According to Williams profile on modelmayhem.com, her other modeling credits include The Limited, Romantic Threads, Heritage Magazine, Bed Bath and Beyond, Macy’s, Frontgate, Lucio Vanni and Destroyed Denim.

Williams is not only pursuing and succeeding in her dream of modeling, but she is also a devoted student and has a plan after her career as a model. A graduate of Ohio University, it was reported Williams holds degrees in health-service administration and long-term-care-administration. She also recently earned a Master’s degree from Walden University in Health Care Administration. It was also reported Williams may also go back to school for her doctorate.

It was reported that Williams grew up around the Glouster, Ohio and in Meigs County, before finishing her high school career in Point Pleasant. She currently lives in Athens County, Ohio.
