Deck the streets

As the holidays approach, city workers are working to make sure all of Point Pleasant’s decorations are up in time for Friday’s holiday parade at 6 p.m. on Main Street. Pictured are Harvey Willoughby and Jr. Killingsworth with the street department putting on the finishing touches along Gunn Park. In addition to the parade, beginning on Friday, Nov. 16, and continuing through Dec. 31, will be the Christmas Fantasy Light Show at Krodel Park. Other Christmas events approaching are “Christmas on the Frontier” on Dec. 1, at Fort Randolph, and the Christmas Light Show and Drive-Thru, from Dec. 7-17, at the West Virginia State Farm Museum.
