In the true spirit of Christmas, the Mason County Health Department is working to help provide warmth for local citizens in need by placing free gloves on a Christmas tree in the entrance to the health department. Health department staff stated several gloves have already been given away, mostly to children who are receiving vaccines and flu shots, and the tree will remain until the gloves are gone. It was added that the gloves are one size fits all and those wishing to receive gloves can simply take what they need and do not need to notify health department staff.
