POINT PLEASANT — The winners have been named in the Mason County Fair’s Market Steer Show, and for the second time this week a pair of siblings have taken home the top two titles.

Numerous spectators piled in the stands to watch the 33 competitors show their animals and named Grand Champion was Travis Bays and named Reserve Champion was Mikayla Bays.

Also taking home awards in the area of showmanship were as follows: In the Senior Division (13 years old and older), first place went to Madison Crank, second place went to Travis Bays, and third place went to Ashten Crank. In the Junior division (12 years old and younger), first place went to Colton Arrington, second place went to Brian McDermitt, and third place went to Tabitha Mayes.

The pair of siblings who won titles earlier in the week were Logan and Karlee Edmonds, who competed in the Junior Market Hog Show. Out of 97 competitors, Logan and Karlee were named Grand Champion and Reserve Champion, respectively.

Fair royalty also present included Mason County Fair Queen Madison Crank, second runner-up for fair queen Kayla Thomas, third runner-up for fair queen Lori Wooten, Junior Miss 4-H Karlee Edmonds, Miss 4-H Amanda King, Young Miss 4-H Sarah Deem, and Little Mister Nathan Wood.

The Market Steer show began shortly after 4 p.m. on Thursday evening at the Mason County Fair.
