Though rain is expected today, temperatures in the 80’s on Tuesday and Wednesday brought many to Krodel Park for a walk around the trail or to cast a fishing line into the lake which was recently stocked. The camping season at the park officially began on April 1 and last year was one of the best years on record for Krodel which took in receipts of $55,512, up from the previous year’s total of $45,500. In the past three years, the park has collected a total of $136,691 in receipts making it one of the most financially viable recreation spots in the city and one of the most popular.
