POINT PLEASANT — The Mason County Sheriff’s Department reports the following arrests: Justin M. Jordan, 29, Point Pleasant, reckless operation, drive revoked for DUI, arrested by Cpt. Stearns. Aaron D. Dewitt, 36, Gallipolis Ferry, capias, arrested by Sgt. Fruth.

Circuit court

MASON COUNTY — Judge David W. Nibert recently heard the following cases in Mason County Circuit Court according to the official court docket filed in the office of Circuit Clerk Bill Withers: State v. Brenton Glover, sentenced to one to three years with department of corrections, credit for 205 days served. State v. David L. Darst, Jr., plea agreement, sentencing set for 9:30 a.m., May 20. State v. Christopher J. Arrington, sentencing continued to 9:30 a.m., May 31. State v. Megan Huddleston, sentenced to six months to two years with department of corrections. State v. Jacob C. Spradlin, hearing on motion to revoke supervised release continued to 10 a.m., May 31. State v. David McCormick, granted motion to terminate extended supervision. State v. Randy Spurlock, home confinement in Harrison County for 10 days, status hearing 1 p.m., May 2. State v. Phillip L. Johnson, hearing on motion to revoke release on home confinement continued to 3:30 p.m., May 1. State v. Ashley M. Roush aka Rickard, probation hearing at 9:30 a.m., May 2. Barnhart v. Big River Mining, hearing on motion for summary judgement and motions in limine. McCausland v. Brown, hearing on motion for appointment of Third Party to farm land.

Judge Nibert is scheduled to hear the following cases on Monday, April 15 in Mason County Circuit Court according to the official court docket filed in the office of Circuit Clerk Bill Withers: State v. Kimberly Miller, hearing on revocation of home confinement. State v. Joshua McCormick, status hearing. State v. Richard A. Hurt, pretrial hearing. State v. Robert E. Lee, pretrial hearing. Hill/Leach v. Pleasant Valley Hospital, hearing on motion to seal and protective order.
