Over one hundred people put on their work-out shoes and walked for 15 minutes during the Pleasant Valley Hospital’s recent National Walk at Lunch Day. Prior to the walk, PVH CEO Tom Schauer spoke to the crowd, and welcomed guest speakers Mayor Brian Billings and Commissioner Rick Handley, who both spoke on the benefits that a short walk everyday can have, and their appreciation for PVH hosting this event. Following the walk, there were snacks available and three door prizes were given out. Winning a massage was PVH employee Lora Thompson, and winning a two month membership to the wellness center was Christina Ratcliff, another PVH employee. Winning the grand prize of a Kindle Fire was Tracy Doolittle.
