In remembrance

Perfect weather greeted parade goers on Saturday in downtown Point Pleasant for the AMVETS Post #2 Memorial Day Parade. From veterans, to antique cars, to pageant queens, to members of the Shawnee nation, to twirling and cheer teams - the parade had something for everyone. Crowds stood and clapped for the parade’s honor guard from AMVETS Post #2 pictured here along with a patriotic Jeep representing the American Legion Post 23 Ladies Auxiliary. More parade pictures on page three.
