Despite the rainy weather, the Point Pleasant River Museum’s Tribute to the River continued on and so did visitors to the riverfront park this weekend. Pictured are scenes from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer’s barge with various educational stations to educate visitors on the corps’ function along the nation’s waterways. The corps’ barge was parked beside many others which dropped anchor for the festival honoring all things to do with river life. The “tribute” also included activities for children, including inflatables at the entrance of the Riverfront Park.
