This weekend, hundreds of children showed up at the City of Point Pleasant’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church. Kids, ages one - 12, waited patiently in line with their baskets before being turned loose for the ultimate egg scramble on the fields at Harmon park. With lightening speed and precision, egg hunters scooped up the 3,000 candy-filled eggs left for them by the church. Some lucky children even found special eggs which entitled them to extra prizes and one lucky child from every age group received a large Easter basket. Every child also had an opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny who also made an appearance.
