GALLIPOLIS, Ohio — Mason County locals Gary Lee Tolley and Chase Likens, along with artist Shana Smith, will be performing as for a “Touch of Country” at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Ariel Theater.

It was reported that Tolley is currently number six on the Independent Music Networks Top 30 Country Charts for his song, “Mind Your Own Business.” Tolley also recently performed “She’s Gone,” which made it to the number five on the charts, at the Gibson Guitar Showroom and was also featured on Fox 5. Also while in Las Vegas, Tolley appeared at the Palace Station Casino and Hotel.

Another one of Tolley’s songs, “Storm Coming Over The Mountain,” has been used on Sirius Radio Channel 125, the Patriot Channel, and the Syndicated David Webb Show. The song is also currently being reviewed in Nashville for a spot in a Civil War movie in the making.

Likens established himself as a performer long ago as a child and earlier this year made it to the top 24 contestants on American Idol, performing “Storm Warning” during the live broadcasts. Likens has also given several local performances since returning home from American Idol and has surely garnered even more support from local fans.

Smith has appeared on the Wheeling Jamboree and the Nashville TV Show Shotgun Red. She has also performed at venues such as the Blue Bird Café, Douglas Corner, and had several television appearances. Smith also currently resides in southern Ohio.
