POMEROY — James E. Gardner, 40, has been indicted by the grand jury for the murder of his father on Nov. 11.
Meigs County Prosecutor Colleen Williams said the grand jury indicted the younger Gardner on four charges — one count of aggravated murder and three counts of aggravated robbery.
Gardner is accused of murdering his father, James W. Gardner, at his residence on Wells Road in Middleport, and stealing a truck, four-wheeler and credit cards from his deceased father.
The younger Gardner will be arraigned at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 21, in Meigs County Common Pleas Court.
