Ron was born on July 11, 1968 in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Teays Valley High School in 1986. He was employed as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Madison Township Fire Department for 18 years, where he served as a member of the Honor Guard. Ron also served as an instructor for the paramedic programs at Grant Medical Center and Eastland Career Center.
Ron was preceded in death by grandparents, Ernest and Ruby Riffle; Pete and Naomi Wynn; and Wilma Wynn and Chancey Thomas, Jr.
He leaves behind many dear friends and his loving family including his sons, Zachary and Seth of Bloomingburg, Ohio; parents, Harold and Gladys of Leon; brother, Andy (Tracey) of Commercial Point, Ohio; nieces, Taylor and Courtney; special aunt, Diana Riffle of Grove City, Ohio; special uncle, Jerry (Sherry) Riffle of Grove City, Ohio’ and several other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family is sincerely indebted to the care and support of numerous friends, neighbors and loved ones.
The family will receive family and friends from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m., Thursday, February 18, at Madison Christian Church, located at 3565 Bixby Rd. Groveport, Ohio with Pastor Paul Barnes officiating. All flowers to be delivered to the church. A firefighter’s funeral service will follow the calling hours. Burial will be at 2 p.m., Friday, February 19, at Yauger Cemetery in Leon.
