Opal L. Robinson, 81, of Clifton, passed away on February 3, 2013, at her home. She was born on August 11, 1931, in Mason County, a daughter to the late Frank McDermitt and Goldie Simpson McDermitt. She was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star in Clifton Lodge # 157, and a member of the Clifton United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death, besides her parents, by husband, Harrison Robinson Jr.; one son, Michael Robinson; one brother, Bill McDermitt; one sister, Emma Rogers; and one grandaughter, Marcia Robinson.

She is survived by five sons, Frank Robinson of Clifton, Edward Robinson of Clifton, Joe Robinson of Clifton, Danny Robinson of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Rick Robinson of Milton; one daughter, Kaylene Errett of Point Pleasant; one sister, Hattie McDaniel of West Columbia; one brother, John and (Janet) McDermitt of Letart; and nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Glenn Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in Suncrest Cemetery also in Point Pleasant. Friends may visit the family from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, February 8, 2013, at the funeral home. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday and will be conducted by the Clifton Eastern Star lodge.
