Margery Frances Wedge, 82, of Point Pleasant, went to be with her Savior on Sunday, August 5, 2012, at her home. She was a secretary at Point Pleasant High School for many years, until her retirement in 1989. Born February 22, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Arch and Edna (Barker) Austin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin E. “Pete” Wedge; her son, Richard Lee “Dick” Roush; brothers, Arlin, Woodson, Archie and Homer Austin; and her sister, Olivia Mahan.

Frances is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Leisa and Charles Perry, of Point Pleasant; three grandchildren, Seth Perry, Jaime and Todd Dixon and Jennifer and Matthew Ray; three great-grandchildren; and step-granddaughter, Carly Perry; and one brother, Oden Austin.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, in Cross Lanes. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to offset burial expenses.
