Larry Kenneth Litchfield, 50, of Henderson, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009 at Pleasant Valley Hospital.

He was a carpenter working from the Portsmouth Local with 15 years of service. He also was a boilermaker with Boilermakers Local of Winfield.

Larry was born Dec. 29, 1958 in Southside, WV son of the late Charles W. “Doc” Litchfield and Wilma Ardeth (Henry) Litchfield.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Litchfield; and one sister, Bonnie Litchfield.

Surviving are two sons, Larry S. (Michelle) Litchfield of Point Pleasant and Nicholas T. (fiancee Carrie) Litchfield of Point Pleasant; one daughter, Ashley Litchfield of Missouri; five sisters, Ann Gillispie of Gallipolis Ferry, Linda Bright of Southside, Frances (James) Jeffers of Southside, Rose (Perry) Jeffers of Southside, Thelma (Ed) Workman of Point Pleasant; four brothers, Randy Litchfield of Gallipolis Ferry, Charles Litchfield Jr. of Henderson, Jerry (Lori) Litchfield of Gallipolis Ferry, and David Litchfield of Southside; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. John R. Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Southside. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

So sorry to learn about Larry, but i hope that you all know that he is in a better place. My prayers are with all of you all.
