J.W. “Bill” Morrison, 79, of Little Hocking, Ohio, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012, at his residence. John was born Monday, May 15, 1933 in Maggie, W.Va., to the late Roma Guy and Armo Louise Mitchell Morrison. He was an Operating Engineer for Union Local #132.
John is survived by his wife, Dianna L. Murphy Morrison, whom he married May 28, 1976, in Pearisburg, Va.; daughters, Terry L. Lively (Garry), Penny Thomas, both of Point Pleasant, Angelia Harshbarger (Glen) and Paula McCarty, both of Parkersburg; and 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Alice Schultz; and mother and father-in-laws.
