She was born June 2, 1992 in Letart, a daughter of the late Eugene and Eva (Roush) Weigand. She was a homemaker, and was a member of the Farm Museum, Mason Senior Citizens and Virgil Lewis Historical Society.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil A. Smith; and sister, Mildred (Fred) Tripp.
She is survived be her daughter, Cecilia (Dennis) Harris of Mason; son, David (Mary) Smith of Grove City, Ohio; grandchildren, Julie Beth Harris of Mason, Sarah Marie Huban of Atlanta, Ga., and Jeffrey Keith (Hillary) Harris of Charleston, S.C.; three great grandchildren; special friend, Mary Beth Ohlinger; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23 at First Baptist Church, with Pastor Bob Grady officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkland Memorial Gardents.
