Guy William Cole, 52, of Letart, passed away on December 13, 2012, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

He was born on August 19, 1960, in Gallia County, Ohio, a son to Hollis Cole and the late Pearl Woomer Cole. He was a carpenter in the construction industry, and a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #23 of Point Pleasant.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by, maternal grandmother, Mildred Woomer, and paternal grandfather, Roy Schultze and a special nephew Paul David Stafford.

He is survived by his father, Hollis Cole of Point Pleasant; special friend, Annie Thompson of Wellston, Ohio; son, Guy William Cole, Jr., of Point Pleasant; three daughters, Brooke (Rex) Holley of Ashton, Kristin Shaffer of Mineral Wells and Korie Cole Brown of Letart; grandchildren, Kaden Holley, Caleb and Carly Shaffer, and Isaiah Brown; sisters, Rebecca Stafford of Columbus, Ohio and Rochelle Glassburn of Point Pleasant; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Kenneth Bledsoe officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m., prior to the service.
