The Fort Randolph Committee recently presented “Christmas on the Frontier” with re-enactors portraying how those living in the 18th century celebrated the Christmas season at Fort Randolph. Pictured are visitors from Gallia County, Ohio getting a lesson on how to cook with a brick oven, as well as sightseers walking to the event under blue skies on what felt more like a spring afternoon than the first of December. “Christmas on the Frontier” is the last event of the year held at Fort Randolph. The fort will reopen again next year when the committee presents the annual Siege at Fort Randolph, May 17-19, 2013.
