West Virginia State Police

LAKIN — Robert Steven Brewer of Glenwood was arrested by Cpl. C.K. Zerkle for the cultivation of marijuana on Aug. 3.

Brewer posted $5,000 bond and was released.

• Dennis R. Williamson of Southside was arrested by Sgt. E.B. Starcher for the cultivation of marijuana on Aug. 7. He was released on a $500 property bond.

• Anthony A. Mitchell was arrested Aug. 1 for day time burglary by Cpl. K.M. Gilley. He was taken to the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville.

Mason County Sheriff’s Department

WEST COLUMBIA — Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident July 29 in Point Pleasant.

Betty Lake of Point Pleasant was driving a 1995 Chevy Camaro and Earnest Trent of Point Pleasant was driving a 2003 Chevy pickup. Cpt. Carl Peterson investigated.

• Homer Cardwell and Conrad Berkley were involved in a two-vehicle accident July 29 in Gallipolis Ferry.

Cardwell was driving a 1991 Toyota pickup and Berkley was driving a 2003 Chevy pickup. Cpl. Andy Varian investigated.

• Injuries were reported in a single-vehicle accident July 30 in Leon.

Robert Hoffman of Millwood was driving a 2004 Mercury hardtop. Cpl. Andy Varian investigated.

• A two-vehicle accident with injuries occurred July 31 in Hartford.

Vickie Bumgarner of Letart was driving a 1995 Chevy Lumina and Britta Connolly of Hartford was driving a 1998 Dodge Neon. Cpl. Andy Varian investigated.

• No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident July 30 in Ashton Upland.

Brenda Adkins of Glenwood was driving a 2006 Chevy Cobalt and Breann Summers of Barboursville was driving a 2002 Volkswagon Jetta. Dep. Forrest Terry investigated.

• Theodore Sayre of Leon and David Sears of Leon were involved in a two-vehicle accident July 30 in Leon.

Sayre was driving a 1992 Chevy van and Sears was driving a 2000 Dodge pickup. Cpl. Andy Varian investigated.

• A two-vehicle accident occurred Aug. 1 in Ashton.

Donald Johnson of Gallipolis, Ohio was driving a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country and David Johnson of Gallipolis, Ohio was driving a 2001 Chevy Blazer. Cpl. Eric Lynch investigated.

• Kenneth M. Robie, 43, of Mason, was arrested July 31 by Dep. Forrest Terry on charges of a capias.

• Brenda L. Quillen, 46, of Gallipolis Ferry, was arrested Sunday by Cpl. Carl Peterson on charges of domestic battery.

• Derek R. Riffle, 26, of Leon, was arrested Monday by Dep. Terry Powell on charges of domestic battery.

• Russell D. Sargent, 30, of Middleport, Ohio, was arrested Monday by Home Confinement Officer Rainey on charges of a capias.

• Elizabeth A. Boersma, 26, of Parkersburg, was arrested Tuesday by Dep. Terry Powell on several charges including obstruction, driving on a suspended license, no insurance, expired registration and expired inspection sticker.

• Rusty J. Martin, 29, of Cross Lanes, was arrested Wednesday by Dep. Terry Powell on charges of a violation of DVP.

• Raymond L. Black, Jr., 38, of Henderson, was arrested Wednesday by Sgt. Steven Greene and Sgt. Robbie Fruth on charges of DUI.

• Zachary J. MacKinght, 28, of Letart, was arrested Thursday by Chief Jeff Fields on charges of bailpiece.

• Arthur V. Meadows, 29, of Point Pleasant, was arrested Thursday by Dep. Dustin Pearson on charges of battery.

Point Pleasant Police Department

POINT PLEASANT — Clifford A. Ball, 28, of Point Pleasant, was arrested July 29 by Captain Joe Veith on charges of a domestic battery warrant.

• James L. Shaver, 60, of Gallipolis, Ohio, was arrested July 31 by Patrolman D. Taylor on three charges; disorderly conduct, battery on an officer and public intoxication.

• David O. Jordan, Jr., 35, of Point Pleasant, was arrested by Patrolman T.A. Deweese on charges of DUI child endangerment.

• Wayne L. Hogan, 28, of Point Pleasant, was arrested by Patrolman T.A. Deweese on charges of second offense DUI.

Mason Police Department

MASON — John A. Clarke, 36, of Mason, was arrested July 28 by Patrolman Wayne Woolard on three counts of transporting stolen property.

• Tracy James Pickenpaugh, 22, of Mason, was arrested twice by Patrolman Wayne Woolard. The first arrest occurred on July 28 on charges of daytime burglary and the second arrest occurred on Aug. 3 on charges of receiving and transporting stolen goods.

Hartford Police Department

HARTFORD — Chief Sam Anderson reported no accidents or arrests.

Henderson Police Department

HENDERSON — Chief David McCoy reported no accidents or arrests.

New Haven Police Department

NEW HAVEN — Chief Rich Gilkey reported no accidents or arrests.
