Creed Allen Simpkins, 29, of Point Pleasant, died as a result of an auto accident on September 30, 2012. He was born on December 4, 1982, in Mason County, a son to Carl Simpkins and Leslie Neal Simpkins of Point Pleasant. He worked as a deckhand for Cambell Barge Line of Pittsburgh, Pa.
In addition to his parents, Carl and Leslie Simpkins, he is survived by his wife, Amanda Simpkins of Mocksville, N.C.; one son, Jessie Simpkins of Point Pleasant; one sister, Nikki Bryant of Point Pleasant; his twin brother, Jessie Simpkins of Point Pleasant; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Arnold Marcus officiating. Friends may visit the family from 6-8 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday.
