Carolyn Sue Harrah, 63, of New Haven, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

She was born on July 2, 1949, in Mason County, a daughter to the late Robert L. Boggs and her mother Dorothy Willet Boggs of Ravenswood. She was a homemaker, beloved mother, and grandmother.

She is preceded in death besides her father, by brother John Boggs.

She is survived by her loving husband Roger Harrah of New Haven, and her beloved children, son, Roby (Shakra) Harrah of Huntington and daughters Lisa (Tim) Stevens of Roxie, Miss., and Kelly Harrah and Todd Anderson of Mason; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Jeanie Staats of Point Pleasant, Brenda Black of Point Pleasant and Patty Keebaugh of Ravenswood; and one brother, Ralph Boggs also of Point Pleasant.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Rev. Charles Hargraves officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Cemetery in New Haven. Friends may visit the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank everyone for their donations, love and kindness, and a special thanks to the Marshall University Band for their monetary support.
