LETART —A Mason County woman has been found dead in her home and her husband is wanted for questioning.
According to Lt. Michael Baylous of the West Virginia State Police, troopers assigned to the Mason County Detachment of the WVSP were dispatched Wednesday on a welfare check and discovered a deceased female at a residence located on Backwaters Drive in Letart. The female was later identified as Kathy Anderson, 54. It is believed that she was shot to death.
Troopers are looking for her husband, Charles E. Anderson, 57, 6 feet, 2 inches, 230 pounds, grey hair and brown eyes. He may be driving a 2008 grey Chevrolet Silverado extended cab with West Virginia registration OHX-820.
Anderson is wanted for questioning concerning this incident and should be considered armed and dangerous.
