People from Mason County participated in Thursday’s National Day of Prayer at a county observance as well as at the West Virginia State Capitol. Pictured are students of Cornerstone Academy in Hartford participating in the National Day of Prayer at the West Virginia State Capitol. The group led the Pledge of Allegiance, quoted scripture and sang - student Cody Mathias signed the song for the non-hearing. Also pictured, Kennedy Fisher, Penelope Haught and Isabella Haught representing Point Pleasant Primary and Roosevelt elementary schools leading the Pledge of Allegiance at the observance in front of the Mason County Courthouse. Also shown, students from Mid Valley Christian School from Middleport, Ohio who sang the National Anthem.
