It was all over in a matter of minutes. A massive swarm of children, pictured, descended on the ball fields at Harmon Park on Saturday to scoop up plastic eggs filled with candy and prizes at the annual Easter egg hunt sponsored by the city of Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church. The church purchased and stuffed around 3,000 plastic eggs with candy, and some special eggs could be redeemed for prizes. Pictured are church volunteers Donna Lambert and Pam Heib at the prize table that also included grand prizes of Easter baskets in each age division.
