POINT PLEASANT — Three people have been arrested and two juveniles have been removed from a Point Pleasant home after an alleged meth lab was discovered Tuesday afternoon.


According to the Mason County Sheriff’s Department, arrested were Jeffrey Wayne Henry, 49, Point Pleasant, Heather Dawn Letson, 34, Point Pleasant and Tara Rae Sowards, 32, Point Pleasant. Henry has been charged with operating a clandestine lab. Both Letson and Sowards have each been charged with accomplices, aiders and abettors.


Mason County Sheriff Greg Powers and department personnel report officers received information that an alleged meth lab was being operated at a residence located at 165 Joy Lane. Upon arriving and searching the home, an active lab was found inside the bathroom, according to the sheriff’s department.


Again, two juveniles were removed from the residence after child protective services was contacted.
