The latest storm may’ve not been as bad as anticipated but it was still bad enough, especially after a long winter where people have had enough. Pictured are line workers from Service Electric Company out of Chattanooga, Tenn., gathering in the parking lot of the Mason County Courthouse on Sunday afternoon. Appalachian Power contracted around 500 line mechanics to deal with possible power outages that thankfully, never came. Workers were released to return home on Monday. Also pictured, Brady Spurlock making a path to the door of the First Church of God on Monday in Point Pleasant. Spurlock said his job was fun though his fingers were freezing.
