Never underestimate the power of kindness. This week students at Point Pleasant Junior/Senior High School, as well as the public, were exposed to “Rachel’s Challenge” - the latter of which is named for a victim of the 1999 shooting at Columbine High School. Students and the public heard a presentation on Rachel Scott’s story meant to inspire kindness, respect and be a reminder that the little things people do everyday make the world a better place. Pictured is Peter DeAnello speaking about Rachel’s legacy and the signatures of students at PPJ/SHS who have pledged to accept “Rachel’s Challenge.”
