A Hillsboro man has been arrested as the third suspect in connection with a burglary which occurred Tuesday afternoon in Greenfield.
James Landrum, 21, surrendered himself to the sheriff's office in Hillsboro on Thursday evening, according to a press release from the Greenfield Police Department.
He has been charged with burglary, a second degree felony, and is currently being held at the Greenfield jail.
Kyler Penwell, 21, and Dale Johnson, 44, both of Greenfield, were arrested on Thursday in connection with the same burglary, which occurred shortly before 2 p.m. on Dec. 10 in the 200 block of North Seventh Street.
The burglary was discovered when the homeowner returned home and saw three males carrying items from inside his house to a vehicle parked in his driveway.
When the homeowner confronted them, they fled the scene, two by vehicle and one on foot.
All property taken from the home was recovered at the scene.
Landrum, Penwell, and Johnson were set to appear for arraignment on Friday morning in Highland County Court, Greenfield.
