The Washington Police Department responded to the following calls:
THEFT: A Peddicord Street resident reported a cell phone and two chargers were taken from his unlocked vehicle.
ASSAULT: David Hagler reported that a known female physically assaulted him while at a residence on E. Market Street.
THEFT: Brian Taylor reported that someone removed several tools from his vehicle.
CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Timothy Barr reported that someone broke the driver side window and rear window on his Chevrolet truck.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: Christopher Dunno reported that someone broke into his storage locker and removed property.
CRIMINAL SIMULATION/THEFT: An employee of Wal-Mart reported that an unknown male purchased merchandise with counterfeit currency.
ASSAULT: Steven Jones reported that while at Dakota’s Roadhouse a known male came to where he was seated, words were exchanged between the two and the male grabbed Jones and physically assaulted him.
LARCENY: Walmart employees reported a male attempting to steal a pair of socks. Officers arrested Corey S. Keller for theft.
LARCENY: An employee of United Dairy Farmers reported an unknown male drove off without paying for $25.01 worth of gasoline.
CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Tausha Ball, 206 Florence St. reported that someone shattered the glass window in the storm door of her home.
LARCENY: William Dressler, 720 S. Main St. reported that someone entered into his unlocked vehicle and removed his wallet.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: The police department investigated a domestic violence incident that occurred at 831 John St. Subsequently, Robert Kesler was arrested for domestic violence.
THEFT: Bill Warner reported that someone removed scrap aluminum from his property.
THEFT: Steven Spears reported that someone gained entry into his motor vehicle and removed property.
THEFT: Helena Queen reported that someone came into her yard and removed two weed eaters.
MENACING: Christy Ater reported that a known person drove by her residence and made threats to damage two vehicles parked at the residence.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: Raymond Grooms reported that someone forced entry into Affordable Auto on S. Main Street.
THEFT: An employee of Dollar General reported that a female concealed merchandise and departed the store without paying for the items. Stayce L. Everetts was arrested for the offense.
BURGLARY: Trevor Moore reported that someone forced entry into his residence and removed property.
THEFT: John Chamberlin reported that someone removed a green push mower from the rear of his residence.
THEFT: Sharon Bellar reported that someone removed the dual exhaust and catalytic converter from her son’s vehicle.
ROBBERY: Justin Smith reported that a known male came to look at property he had advertised for sale. The victim showed the male the property and the male struck him in the face, took the property and fled the area. Cody S. Moore was arrested for the offense.
THEFT: An employee of Community Market reported that a female concealed merchandise and attempted to depart the store without paying for the items. Cindy J. Gilpen was charged with the offense.
ASSAULT: Manual Gonzales reported that a known female assaulted him by slapping him. He was referred to the solicitor for the filing of charges.
VIOLATING PROTECTION ORDER: A Peddicord Avenue resident reported that her ex-boyfriend violated a protection order by coming to her house. She was referred tot he city solicitor for the filing of charges.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: James Massie reported that someone forced entry into his storage locker and removed tools.
THEFT: Kathy Depugh reported a known male removed property from her residence without permission.
ASSAULT: Kristy Bain reported that she was physically assaulted by a juvenile. After investigating the incident officers filed a complaint for assault against the juvenile.
THFT: An employee of Wal-Mart reported a shoplifting incident to the police department.
THEFT: Deborah McCutcheon reported that sometime overnight someone removed the spare tires andwheel from the rear of her Jeep Liberty.
CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Ellen Dolphin reported that someone damaged the locking mechanism to her storage locker at Jim’s Store & Save on Columbus Avenue.
THEFT: Christina Groves reported that while her vehicle was parked near Two in One Auto Bath, someone removed her cell phone from the vehicle.
INDUCING PANIC: An employee of Domino’s reported that a male entered the store brandishing a knife and made threats toward another person inside. The male, identified as Jack A. Hall III was arrested for the offense.
THEFT: Ron Palmer reported that sometime overnight someone removed a pink camouflage ATV from the backyard of his residence.
THEFT: Kelly Picklesimer r ported that sometime overnight, someone removed her vehicle from where it was parked at her residence. The vehicle was later recovered in Ross County and had been involved in a crash. Investigation continues.
THEFT: Chester Marcum reported that someone entered both of his vehicle and removed property.
MENACING: Stephanie Mitchem reported that she was threatened with physical harm by a known female.
CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Bessie Jones reported that a known male damaged both windshield wiper arms on her vehicle.
THEFT: An employee of Wal-Mart reported that a female concealed merchandise and departed the store without paying for the item. Ashley N. Evans was charged with the offense.
ENDANGERING CHILDREN: The Washington C.H. Police Department received a complaint of a small child walking on the sidewalk on E. Court Street with no adult supervision. Officers located the child and after investigation them other was located and identified as Elizabeth Ann Johnson, who was arrested for the offense.
THEFT: James McWilliams reported that someone removed two wrought iron chairs from the side porch of his residence.
THEFT: An employee of Kroger reported that while at work, someone entered her vehicle and removed items.
