ASHTON — The Hannan Wildcats varsity football team is getting creative with raising funds for its program by hosting its inaugural Vendor Bazaar and Hot Dog Sale.
The event is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday at the Hannan Junior/Senior High School gymnasium. In addition, the Wildcats will be using their event as a drop-off location for flood relief supplies.
Jessy Scott, guidance counselor at Hannan and football program supporter, said the bazaar and hot dog sale will assist in raising funds to cover field maintenance and general costs of operation for the football team. When it comes to the flood relief supply items, Scott said those will be going directly to victims via a family in Mason County who have been traveling to the affected areas, taking supplies for assistance and cleanup. Visitors who bring a flood donation item will receive three free prize drawing tickets at the bazaar.
As for the bazaar, it will feature vendors from Avon, Handmade Hairbows, Scentsy, Pink Zebra, Younique, Advocare, KEEP Collective Jewelry, Thirty-One totes, Usborne Books, Tupperware, Nerium, Paparazzi Jewelry, Riddle Me This Primitives, Mary Kay, Isagenix, Young Living Essential Oils, ItWorks!, More than Words Handwritten Creations, Pampered Chef, LuLaRoe, Perfectly Posh, Big Dave’s Collectibles, Custom Athletic Bracelets, THRIVE, Doterra Essential Oils, and more.
Balls Chapel Church will host a bake sale, Jersey’s LemonyAde Stand will be available and prize drawings will occur.
In addition, there will be hot dog platters featuring the “world famous” MAW MAW Sauce.
