Mason County Special Investigation Unit

A Mason man is facing a drug charge following an investigation by the Mason County Special Investigation Unit (SIU). Justin M. Jordan, 33, has been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. According to a press released from the SIU, Jordan allegedly had a total of 3.29 grams of suspected crystal meth, and also had scales, baggies and cash on him.

Jordan was arrested on Friday in Point Pleasant. He appeared for arraignment before Magistrate Cheryl Ross who set his bond at $50,000, cash only. As of Wednesday evening, he remained incarcerated at the Western Regional Jail.

The Mason County Special Investigation Unit consists of personnel from the Mason County Sheriff’s Department and Point Pleasant Police Department. This is the third arrest in three weeks made as a result of investigations by the SIU.
