Investigation by Mason County Special Investigation Unit nets arrest

POINT PLEASANT — After an investigation lasting nearly two years led by the Mason County Special Investigation Unit, deputies with the Mason County Sheriff’s Department were able to apprehend Shayne Edward Pennycuff on multiple felony warrants on Saturday. Pennycuff’s charges consist of:

Charge 1.) Distribution of Heroin

Charge 2.) Distribution of Heroin

Charge 3.) Distribution of Heroin

Charge 4.) Distribution of Heroin

The Mason County Special Investigation Unit consists of personnel from the Mason County Sheriff’s Department and Point Pleasant Police Department. This is the second arrest in less than two weeks made as a result of investigations by the Mason County Special Investigation Unit.
