POINT PLEASANT — The Mason County Animal Shelter is hoping to find homes for some lovable pets. Adoption fees are $20 for cats, $25 for dogs, and this includes shots and the animals have been wormed. Shelter hours are noon to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday, closed weekends. Alice, a five-year old calico, was brought to the shelter this week after her owner died and she was left alone. Having been well cared for, she is fully vetted, spayed and litter trained. She is an inside cat who likes to snuggle and sleep in your lap.
Boss, this jet-black pit bull is a playful boy who loves other dogs, cats and kids. Boss is described as a loving, well-adjusted boy, about two years old.
Garfield is the love bug of the cat room and likes to greet all visitors in hopes that one of them is his forever owner. This male, orange tabby is ready for adoption.
