POINT PLEASANT — Pleasant Valley Hospital (PVH) announces the arrival of general surgeon, John Thomas, MD.
Thomas specializes in providing minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries for patients and has joined Marshall Surgeons Arthur Fine, MD, FACS, David Denning, MD, FACS, Curtis Harrison Jr., MD, FACS and Gretchen Hammond, FNP-BC at Pleasant Valley Hospital Surgical Services.

Thomas is a highly specialized general surgeon who provides surgical treatments of disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, breast, skin, and hernias, as well as upper and lower endoscopy. He joins a comprehensive and experienced team of general surgeons at Surgery Services at Pleasant Valley Hospital using state-of-the-art technology and highly skilled operating room team.
Thomas earned his Doctor of Medicine from The Ohio State University of Medicine and Public Health and completed his General Surgery residency at Mount Carmel Health Systems, both in Columbus, Ohio.
