Members of Boy Scout Troop 235 are pictured as they raise the American Flag at Suncrest Cemetery in New Haven over the Memorial Day weekend. Over 1,000 small flags were placed on the gravesites of veterans by the Stewart-Johnson V.F.W. Post 9926 of Mason and Smith-Capehart American Legion Post 140 of New Haven.

A lofty breeze kept the flags displayed during the solemn Memorial Day ceremony held in the Bend Area Monday. Services were held in West Columbia, Clifton, Mason, Hartford and New Haven by members of the Stewart-Johnson V.F.W. Post 9926 of Mason and Smith-Capehart American Legion Post 140 of New Haven.
