Mason County EMS

April 13-30, Mason County EMS was toned out a total of 280 times; Station 100 had 173 calls 61.8 %, Station 200 had 41 calls 14.6 % and Station 500 had 66 calls 23.6 %, this includes transports, emergencies and all others. There were 212 patients total; 48 General Medical, 6 Abdominal Pain, 1 Animal bite, 6 Altered Mental Status, 17 Breathing problems, 1 Burn, 1 Cardiac arrest, 1 Seizures, 10 Chest pains, 1 choking, 3 Diabetic emergencies, 10 Fall, 1 GI Bleed, 3 Head injury,2 Hemorrhage/Laceration, 1 Hypertension, 1 Ingestion of Poison, 11 Overdose, and 1 Stroke/CVA.

There were 83 calls which resulted in not taking a patient anywhere: 9ALS Assists, 22 cancelled enroute, 1 dead at scene body transported, 3 dead on scene no transport, 7 no patient contact, 14 Patients refused care, 2 fire scene standbys, 1 law scene standby, 20 treated then refused, 2 treated transferred to Air medical (Healthnet) 2 treated transferred to Air Medical (Med fight). There were 141 Patients were taken to the area hospitals: 86 to PVH, 17 to HMC-G, 4 to HMC-P, 15 to SMH,8 to CHH, 1 WVU Ruby, 4 Jackson General, and 2 to OSU, 1 CAMC, 3 CAMC Teays Valley. These include transports as well as emergencies. Transport Breakdown was as follows: ALS transports: 10. C3IFT (Class 3 Interfacility Transports): 2. BLS transports: 75.
