Mason County EMS

Feb 1 – 14, Mason County EMS was toned out a total of 240 times; Station 100 had 159 calls, Station 200 had 23 calls and Station 500 had 58 this will include all calls transports, emergencies and all others. There were 101 total; 35 general medical, 7 abdominal pain, 10 altered mental status, 13 breathing problems, 1 cardiac arrest, 6 chest pains, 4 diabetic emergency, 14 fall, 1 head injury, 2 hemorrhage /laceration, 3 overdose, 3 seizure, 1 stab/gunshot wound.

There was 60 calls which resulted in not taking a patient anywhere: 2 ALS Assists, 20 cancelled enroute, 1 lift assist to another EMS Crew, 7 no patient contact, 12 patients refused care, 16 treated then refused, 2 standby on scene. There were 111 patients taken to the area hospitals: 68 to PVH, 17 to HMC-G, 2 to HMC-P, 12 to SMH, 5 to CHH, 2 OSU, 2 Riverside Methodist and 1 to CAMC Teays Valley, 1 to Camden Clark and 1 to Jackson General. These include transports as well as emergencies.

Transport Breakdown: ALS transports, 10. BLS transports, 80. PVH transferred 52 patients from their facility.
