Honoring the ‘Big Blacks’ for another ‘mighty’ season


Point Pleasant City Council recently honored the Point Pleasant High School Big Blacks Football Team on another perfect regular season and once again appearing in post-season play. The team and its coaches were presented with a proclamation from Mayor Brian Billings and City Clerk Amber Tatterson on behalf of council, all pictured here. Billings said: “First let me congratulate each of you on a great (11-1) season. You have made our entire community once again very proud. You are not only talented young men on the field but have shown your commitment to be leaders off the field. I along with our city clerk Amber Tatterson and members of city council thank you and your coaches for a job well done.”
