Local soars to ‘eagle scout’ achievement


A local, young man has soared to “Eagle Scout”after completing 32 merit badges when only 21 were needed to achieve the ranking. Shayne Ward, a student at PPJ/SHS, pictured second from left, is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop #258, and was recognized by the Mason County Commission for his achievement.
