Scouts visit with EMS, law enforcement


Cub Scout Pack 258 recently visited with an EMS crew from Mason County EMS. EMT Elisabeth Lloyd and Paramedic Brady Taylor spoke with the boys about working on an ambulance. Troop leaders and scouts expressed appreciation for the visit.


Sgt. Joe Finnicum with the West Virginia State Police and Patrolman Matthew McCormick with the Point Pleasant Police Department, recently visited Trinity UMC for Cub Scout Pack 258’s meeting to talk about being a police officer. The kids were also given a child ID kit from Ty Somerville State Farm office and each child was fingerprinted. Troop leaders and scouts expressed appreciation for the visit.
