The Mason County Republican Womans Club and the Republican Executive Committee welcomed three candidates for the U.S. Congress to speak at their recent meeting at the WVU Extension Office.

The Mason County Republican Womans Club and the Republican Executive Committee welcomed three candidates for U.S. Congress to speak at their recent meeting at the WVU Extension Office.

The candidates speaking were Carol Miller, House Majority Whip and Delegate for the 16th District, Conrad Lucas, State Party Chairman, and Delegate Rupie Phillips from the 24th District. Some of the topics discussed were economic developement, infrastructure, healthcare, Second Amendment, and drug abuse.

They gave their opinions on the issues and took questions afterward.
