The Kountry Kritters 4-H Club held its November meeting on Nov. 20, 2016. The meeting was called to order by President Kate Henderson.
The pledges were led by Mark Kincaid and Parker Henderson. Hannah and Walker Wood gave the meditations. Sarah Deem gave the secretary’s report and Kira Henderson gave the treasurer’s report. Maggie Kincaid gave the health report and gave each member a health book.
In old business, reports were given on officer training school, Halloween Block Party, Walk for Women, Veteran’s Day Parade and Achievement Banquet by Mark Kincaid, Nathan Wood, Sarah Deem, Mariah Nowlin, Kate Henderson, and Parker Henderson. The Christmas Parade was on Friday, Dec. 2 and the club handed out hot chocolate during the parade. Alex Warden made a motion to make Christmas Cards during the December meeting for the Nursing Home and Walker Wood seconded the motion. The members were reminded of the 4-H Leaders Auction on Dec. 9. Katherine Deem made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Mark Kincaid seconded the motion.
The Kountry Kritters 4-H Club held its December meeting on Dec. 11, 2016 at the farm museum. The meeting was called to order by President, Kate Henderson. Pledges were led by Alex Warden and Sarah Deem. Sarah Deem gave the secretaries report and the members were updated on the treasurer’s report.
In old business, reports were given on the Christmas Parade by Gracie Monday, Caleb Stamper, and Nathan Wood. In new business, the club discussed different activities for January and February. Alex Warden made a motion to go roller skating in January and ice skating in February. The motion was seconded by Mark Kincaid. Following the meeting, members made Christmas cards for the Nursing Home and they also handed out hot chocolate and cookies for those visiting the lights at the Farm Museum.
