The Mason County Sheriff’s Department reports the following arrests: Allen R. Brickles, 20, Pomeroy, Ohio, underage consumption, public intoxication, arrested by Lt. Greene, Deputy Rhodes. James Gray, V, 20, Pomeroy, Ohio, underage consumption, public intoxication, arrested by Lt. Greene, Deputy Rhodes. Garrett Hall, 18, Pomeroy, Ohio, underage consumption, public intoxication, arrested by Lt. Greene, Deputy Rhodes. Michael S. Heironymus, Jr., 49, Letart, domestic battery, arrested by Cpl. Terry.
Point Pleasant Police Department
The Point Pleasant Police Department recently released its monthly activity report for July: 154 citations issued, 23 misdemeanor arrests, 17 felony arrests, two DUI arrests, 15 accident reports taken, 35 complaint reports taken, three warning citations written.
Arrested and transported to the Western Regional Jail by personnel with the PPPD were: Eric D. Wheeler, drive revoked for DUI, possession controlled substance, fugitive from justice. Wallie W. Hart, Jr., disorderly conduct, public intoxication, battery on officer, obstruction of officer. Richard A. Hurt, breaking and entering warrant. Travis J. Efaw, breaking and entering warrant. Sheldon B. Hill, III, attempt to operate a clandestine lab. Randy Harmon, battery warrant, person prohibited from possession firearm warrant. Samuel W. Somerville, DUI second offense. Justin C. Sayre, parole violation.
Point Pleasant Municipal Court
Point Pleasant Municipal Court Judge R. Michael Shaw, Jr. recently released the following municipal court report to Point Pleasant City Council: Shayne Pennycuff, charged with speeding and failing to produce operator’s license, appeared for court in May was granted a continuance, defendant did not reappear in June and the court found judgment against him on both charges and assessed fines. Joshua S. Bailey, charged with expired registration, driving left of center and no insurance. Defendant reached a plea agreement, pleaded guilty to one charge (charge was not noted) and the remaining two were dismissed, fine assessed. Heather Marie Floyd, charged with passenger not wearing a seat belt, pleaded guilty to the charge and fine assessed.
