Bonnie Rose Deal Holley, 98, of Ashton, died Tuesday, October 8, 2012, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Point Pleasant. Bonnie was born on June 6, 1914, in Mason County, a daughter to the late Elmer Deal and Willie Pearl Sharp Deal. Bonnie was a homemaker and farmer, as well as a lifelong resident of Mason County. She will be sadly missed by those who knew her and loved her for her loving smile and friendly ways.
Bonnie is preceded in death besides her parents, by husband, Homer J. Holley, as well as her siblings and their spouses, Robert (Nellie) Deal, Rex Deal, Helen (Arthur) Perry, Ida (Claude) Powers, Cordelia (Ira) Barnett, Elmer Jr. (Opal) Deal, and Arthur, Luther, and Earl Deal.
She is survived by sister-in-laws, Belva (Luther) Deal, and Ruth Deal, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2012, at Moore’s Chapel Church on Rocky Fork Road in Ashton, with Rev. Ronnie Long officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
